Heading south on Thomasville Road in Midtown, we turned into the driveway of the dark salmon colored building that serves as a home to the Bookshelf and Lucy & Leo’s Cupcakery. For more on the Paisley Cafe check out the full review on Tallahassee.com.

Congrats again on the Tallahassee.com gig! Paisley is one of places that gives me hope for a great local Tallahassee food scene, similar to Gainesville (I feel dirty saying that word).
Thank you! I agree. Although it is home to the Gators, I really like Gainesville’s downtown and food scene. I try to stop in and check out a new place if my schedule/travel permits it.
That comment is going to get me tossed out of Seminole Nation….
try the vietnamese food ,esp the pho and beef stew as well as the clay poy dishes.Couple who owns it are from Vietnam and seem to do a great job on their native dishes, esp the pho.
oh yeah-Far East Cuisine at Carriage gate shopping cntr,Tallahassee
Thanks for the comments Rob! I have been to Far East Cuisine and do like their pho. I reviewed it here: http://sweetteaandbourbon.com/2011/02/03/photastic-fare-at-fareast-cuisine/
I absolutely LOVE Paisley. Cozy atmosphere with tasty food combination — glad we have this new gem in Tallahassee 🙂
I agree! Midtown has improved so much in the past couple years. Paisley and the Bookshelf only make it better! Thanks for the comment and follow by the way, I appreciate it!
Midtown is where it’s at now! I love living and playing in that area. You’re welcome 🙂
Great that someone like the Paisley has a good location, and that midtown is creating a scene- but I prefer the food/atmosphere of The Soup Swift on Miccosukee.
