My sweet tooth recently attacked and after determining I needed a cupcake, I got into the car, and headed to Lucy & Leo’s Cupcakery to beat it into submission. For more on Lucy & Leo’s check out the full review on Tallahassee.com.

I’m obsessed with Lucy & Leo’s!
They make a really good cupcake. I loved the lemon blueberry one. What’s your favorite one?
Hands down: Monkey Biz!
Mike,
We’ll never agree on this one. 🙂 Good review though as always.
Thanks Bill! Yeah, I know you are not a L&L fan. I like the size of their cupcakes and their flavor combinations.
So is this the second or third place we have differing opinions? La Fiesta, L&L and ???
Third, I didn’t like Catalina Cafe. 🙂
I thought it was okay for coffee. They forgot the cheese on my breakfast sandwich. Heck, there were only 4 ingredients…
So funny you just wrote this review – I was thinking of getting a special cupcake for Mack’s 1st birthday from there (deciding to make my own instead). I have had some awesome cupcakes from L&L. They had cute Harry Potter themed ones 2 or 3 years ago that were good. I had a margarita cupcake from Food Truck Thursday while I was pregnant that I didn’t care for (too sweet) but I still love em.
Homemade cupcakes for special occasions cannot be beat! A margarita cupcake? I am not sure how I feel about that, but props to them for trying something new. 🙂

Two words. Strawberry Shortcake Cupcake. Ok three words. Best in town but they only have it every other day! Leo and Lucy has a drier type of cake. It is full of flavor and not the overly sweet moist cake you find in most places. Give it a chance!
