Every Wednesday and Friday, weather permitting, the former site of the Johns Building on S. Bronough Street becomes the Food Truck Court. Several of the city’s every growing number of food trucks set up shop between the hours of 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to offer a local alternatives to a fast food value meal or bagged lunch. I visited the Food Truck Court once, and on this visit was looking forward to trying another truck.
The Valhalla Grill was the second stop in my effort to eat my way through the Food Truck Court. The truck is white with a very cool drawing of a Viking’s head on the left rear side. The right side contained a doorway where orders were placed, and a set of rectangular windows where the prepared food was served to customers. On the day I visited a small line stretched in front of the truck while a man I presumed to be the owner took orders. Two members of his staff scurried about in the rear of the truck cooking food and placing it in containers. For more on the Valhalla Grill read the full review on Tallahassee.com.
