On a tip from fellow Tallahassee foodies, Mark and Sarah who pen CitronZest, I recently visited China Delight with my friend Joe. The restaurant is located at 220 W. Tennessee Street next to the shiny and recently refurbished Four Points by Sheraton hotel. We arrived a little before lunch and parked at the rear of the restaurant. Agreed! As long as the food is outstanding, I can overlook other deficiencies. 🙂
I love your blog by the way!
I remember this as Ouy Lyn (not sure of the spelling).
After following up on a few of your suggested restaurants, the most recent being Ruby’s Diner, I went to China Delight on Friday. I love a good dumpling (or pot-sticker) and these did not disappoint. I also opted for the chicken with ginger and green onion, and that was excellent. (My dining companion had the garlic chicken which was pretty darn good, too). I had to laugh, though, when a couple at the table behind me discussed having the “gingery chicken dish” that the “food blogger guy” wrote about. 🙂
I am so glad you like China Delight! I really need to get back again, and I wish it was closer to where I worked. That is too funny about the people talking about the “food blogger guy!” I guess people do read my reviews! 🙂
