After taking care of some morning errands Becky and I met for lunch before picking the kids up from daycare . We decided to pay the Rosemary Tree Café a visit, and made the short drive up from our house towards the historic Jefferson County Courthouse.
The Rosemary Tree is located in downtown Monticello, Florida at 150 North Jefferson Street in the building formerly occupied by the Jefferson County Tax Collector’s office. On street parking is available in front of the café and on nearby side street. The building where the Rosemary Tree sits was a deep blue gray. A white octagon shaped sign sat above a black awning, while a picture of a julep cup overflowing with rosemary graced the front window. To the left was a gift shop with the same name and accessible though the café. It is a classy looking exterior and provided a visual upgrade to downtown Monticello when it opened. I love a good broccoli salad like that… however a Waldorf salad, it is not. Waldorf salads usually have apples and celery. 🙂
