The package of mini pretzels on the flight into Tallahassee did little to suppress my hunger, and the prospect of a 45 minute drive to the ‘Cello made finding something to eat a top priority as I departed the airport parking lot. Sadly, dining options along the southern section of Capital Circle are limited and I was resigned to a meal in a paper sack until I saw a sign for Red Snapper Seafood & More.
Red Snapper is located at 5023 Crawfordville Road in front of the Publix Shopping plaza in a small strip mall. A large red sign with a fish illuminated the early night sky. Plate glass windows with shades half drawn and a neon open sign faced the parking lot. I was curious and hungry to see what this Southside eatery had to offer.
