A few weeks ago I was driving down Mission Road on my way to lunch when I noticed a small restaurant called Tony & Dale’s Seafood & Diner. I was curious to see what the restaurant had to offer, and decided to pay it a visit. Joe agreed to meet me after an appointment and we resolved to see if Tony & Dale’s was a hidden gem or an also ran.
Tony & Dale’s is located at 2790 West Tennessee Street behind a bank and across from a discount store in a small strip mall. The parking lot was empty and I parked across from the restaurant’s front entrance. A small patio in front of the eatery was dotted with picnic tables topped with red umbrellas. Festive looking lights were strung between black fence poles. It was inviting and looked like a good place to enjoy a cold drink.
