An early morning errand brought me to the east side of Tallahassee. After taking care of business I searched for place to eat breakfast. I ran across the Bada Bean and remembered my friend Bill said it was a good spot for breakfast. I turned into the driveway and decided to give this local breakfast spot a shot.
The Bada Bean is located at 2500-B Apalachee Parkway in a small shopping plaza it shares with several other small business including an auction house. Ample parking was provided in front of the restaurant. A deep garnet and gold sign with a flapper between the Bada and Bean stood above the front door. Various cartoons of shady looking gangsters from the 1920s decorated the windows, and a daily special, the Bada Breakfast for $6.99, was prominently displayed. I used to live back behind the Bada Bean during law school – I’ve spent many a morning studying there, and love the food and the coffee so much. Everyone who worked there was crazy nice, too. One of my favorites in Tallahassee!

Lunch man… lunch! 🙂
The Georgia Reuben there was great.
I work close to Bada Bean and never noticed it before. Obviously, that is going to change soon. Thanks for sharing this little breakfast gem.
