On a recent trip across South Georgia I had some terrible BBQ. Restaurants in Alma, Waycross, and Valdosta served up sandwiches that made me wonder if I was being punished with sub-par pork for an unknown BBQ transgression. In an effort to restore my faith in pitmasters around the Peach State I visited Fallin’s Barbeque in Thomasville, Georgia.
Fallin’s has been cooking BBQ for as long as I have been alive, since 1977. Pulling into the parking lot I smelled smoke. Hoping it was not BBQ fool’s gold I entered the brick building and was immediately greeted by a smiling waitress. She handed me a menu we chatted as I looked over their offerings. Fallin’s serves up four kinds of BBQ, pork (ribs and pulled), brisket, smoked chicken, and smoked turkey offered on both sandwiches and platters. Appetizers, salads, and items for the kids are also available. For more on Fallin’s read the full review on Tallahassee.com.

Thank you for stopping by! I hope to show you some of my other featured items the next time you are in town.
That would be great! I am in Thomasville all the time, and will make sure to say hello the next time I stop in for some BBQ.
You must have come Saturday afternoon, the one day I took my wife and daughter up to Albany to try out Baja Grill. I’m glad to know that my people were very attentive to you while I wasn’t there. Have to try the Big Joe Sandwich or the burnt ends. Thanks again and look forward to meeting you.
It was a Saturday afternoon, and next time I stop by I will definitely try the burnt ends.
I used to live in Thomasville, and worked at Fallin’s when I was in HS. Since then I moved away to Canada where I would rave about the awesome food and amazing BBQ sauce that is made there.
When I returned home for a visit, I stated from the time I arrived that I wanted to go back to Fallin’s at least once before I go back north – and I didn’t regret it. It’s as good now as it was 12 years ago.
From Thomasville to Canada? That is quite the move Sean! Is there any good BBQ up where you live?
I’m glad you were able to stop in at Fallin’s before heading back north. I’m very happy to be only 25 mins from it. 🙂
Sean, thanks for coming in, I remember you being there and if you ever need any sauce we can ship it.
Mike nice meeting you, hope you enjoyed the meal today. We are known for our stew locally
