The last time I was between FSU and FAMU I passed a food truck offering up Cuban fare. Sadly it was raining, and in the interest of not becoming drenched I sought lunch from a drier location. The thought of a perfectly pressed Cuban was stuck in my head, and with clear sunny skies I ventured off to try Kübano.
The food truck is located on the corner of Gaines Street and Railroad Avenue in a small black trailer. Parking is available behind the gas station. Latin music filled the air as I approached the window. A smiling man greeted me and asked me if I was ready to order. The menu consisted of six sandwiches and various side items. As I looked over my options the owner talked up his Cuban and said it was the best one north of Miami. I ordered one with a side of tostones and a soda I had never tried called Ironbeer.
