Iguana Cantina Bar & Grill

Iguana Cantina Bar & Grill recently opened its doors at 2736 Capital Cir. NE.  A black sign with a stylized reptile exclaimed the restaurant was open and serving up two-for-on margaritas and draft beers.  I pulled into the parking lot wishing it was happy hour and looking forward to lunch with my two friends.

Andrew and I got out of car at the same exact time.  We walked into the side door and met our mutual friend Jeremiah who had been seated in the back corner of the restaurant underneath a TV showing a soap opera.  It was very dark in the booth, and we moved to one of the many homemade high top tables that fill the restaurant. Despite being the height of the lunch rush, Iguana was mostly empty. For more on my visit to Iguana, read the full review on Tallahassee.com.

    • It was not good when it was Los Amigos (I think that was the name). Even for Americanized food this was pretty meh. I cannot see them staying open for very long unless they step their game up.
