Watching Florida State dismantle its opponent requires a good breakfast, and with Mason in tow we stopped in at The Joint to fuel up for a day at Doak.
The Joint, at 625 W. Tennessee St., serves breakfast, burgers, dogs and salads all day every day. I selected the Aristotle sammie while Kirsten opted for the Farmer’s skillet scramble. Mason wasn’t in a breakfast mood, and instead ordered a burger and fries (with a side of mustard to dip both into).
A cup of Lucky Goat coffee provided a jolt of caffeine while we waited for our meals. The Aristotle, which included two eggs, spinach, tomato and feta piled between two thick slices of Texas toast, was accompanied with a side of golden hash browns. The feta was slightly melted, and the saltiness of the cheese, paired with the eggs and spinach, made the sandwich something special. For more on the Joint read the full review on Tallahassee.com.
