On a beat up legal pad I keep a list of restaurants I want to visit. All but one, Little Athens Gyro, had been crossed off of the faded front piece of yellow paper. I was recently near FSU and decided it was time to pay Little Athens a visit.
In a recent attempt to beautify the Tennessee Strip the block that houses Little Athens was clad in industrial corrugated metal in varying shades of gray, blues and green. The restaurant is on the far left end and faces the McDonald’s. The parking lot is shared with the national hamburger chain and finding a space can be a challenge during the lunch rush, but I managed to snag a spot. That was my favorite lunch spot in law school. Glad to see it’s still putting out delicious gyros!
