With our big day quickly approaching, we did not want to look like middle-schoolers during our first dance, so we decided to take a lesson at Fred Astaire Dance Studio. After we learned something resembling a rumba, our stomachs rumbled with hunger, and we headed off to dinner at nearby Little Italy.
The restaurant is located in the Magnolia Park Courtyard at 111 S. Magnolia Street. It was a pleasant evening, and we elected to sit in the courtyard. A collection of practicing bluegrass musicians jammed nearby, and white lights strung along several small trees provided beautiful ambiance.
Our sever appeared, took our drink order, and returned with a basket of warm bread. Little Italy serves up classic Italian-American fare, and the menu was full of familiar dishes including veal cutlet parmigiana, lasagna and manicotti. We decided to split a Greek salad, and for entrees, we ordered baked ziti and linguine carbonara. Kirsten asked for meatball to be added to the baked ziti and the waitress assured us it would not be a problem. For more on Little Italy read the full review on Tallahassee.com.
